Douglas Sandquist, DDS graduated from Loma Linda School of Dentistry in 1997 and joined the practice in 1998. Like his father, he has had considerable experience in restorative and esthetic dentistry, as well as in treating jaw joint and bite problems.
Dr. Doug has been instrumental in introducing exciting new technology to the office, and has devoted himself to continuing the Sandquist legacy of performing high-quality dentistry in a relaxed family-centered environment.

Jeannie Lee-Mirzayan DDS grew up in Chicago, IL and graduated from Northwestern University Dental School in 1997 followed by a General Practice Residency in Long Beach, CA and worked as a general dentist with her husband in downtown Los Angeles. She’s primarily focused on orthodontics/clear aligners and health concepts for her patients.
Now in Las Vegas, Dr. Lee is thrilled to be part of the Sandquist Dentistry family. Dr. Lee specializes in clear aligner therapy (Invisalign) and short-term braces. She is also certified in Myofunctional Therapy. She has been a patient of all of these modalities so is keenly aware of what the patient might need or be experiencing.

Dental implants are designed to look perfectly natural alongside your other teeth. And they are a long lasting option for restoring your smile. The implant post is made up of titanium and other materials that are compatible with the human body. They are placed in the upper or lower jaw, where they function as a sturdy anchor for a replacement crown. Two types of dentures are available for the replacement of missing teeth. Full or complete dentures are used to replace full sets of teeth. When some natural teeth are still present partials can be used. Partials can be helpful to keep the remaining teeth from shifting.
Fixed bridges are a non-removable option to replace missing teeth. They are comprised of two crowns affixed to neighboring – or anchoring teeth. The artificial teeth then sit in between, replacing the missing teeth. They are strong and durable, but will need to be replaced after many years.

Insurance
We are a Fee-for-Service dental office and file insurance claims for our patients for direct reimbursement to them. You will receive payment from your insurance company for dental treatment done in our practice, except for HMO plans that require an HMO clinic.

What is myofunctional therapy and do I need it?
Myofunctional therapy is a series of exercises designed to improve the strength, coordination, and function of the tongue, lips, and facial muscles. Where do I go for emergency dental care?
At Sandquist Dentistry in Las Vegas, we do our best to accommodate dental emergencies. Start by calling our Las Vegas dentist office. When you call during office hours, we make every effort to see you, sometimes on the same day. If your dental emergency happens on the weekends or after office hours, don’t worry; just call the office and leave us a message. For true dental emergencies we have an emergency line that Dr. Sandquist monitors. He will return your call as soon as possible and see you at the earliest availability. For minor dental emergencies you can also request an appointment online. We do not see patients on weekends.
Do you pull teeth?
We do not pull teeth. During your consultation, if we see that you have teeth that need to be removed we will refer you to a trusted specialist and coordinate to ensure the restoration of your teeth.
