If you don’t have dental insurance, or you have a plan that runs out faster than your teeth do, there’s another way to handle this. You can prepay for the care you already know you need, bundled at a lower fee than paying for those visits one at a time.
These aren’t rigid packages. The right one depends on how often you actually need to be seen, and we build it around that.
The Optimal Dental Health Program
This is the standard version, and it covers a year of preventive care:
- Two hygiene visits
- Two exams with the doctor
- One set of X-rays for the year
Those are bundled together at a reduced fee off what the same visits would cost separately.
The year starts the day you sign up, and the visits are meant to be used during it. The program is priced per person, so there’s no family or household rate.
If you need your teeth cleaned more often
Twice a year isn’t the right schedule for everyone. How often you should be seen depends on how your gums are doing and how well plaque is controlled at home, and plenty of people do better coming in every 3 or 4 months.
For those patients we build a hygiene package around that schedule instead, so coming in more often doesn’t mean paying full price every time.
If you’ve been treated for gum disease
Once gum disease has been treated, we recommend a cleaning every 3 months. That’s the interval that keeps bacteria from building back up to the level that caused the damage in the first place. Here’s why that matters.
We build perio programs that bundle those periodontal maintenance visits, so the schedule your gums actually need is priced as one thing instead of a series of separate visits. Where someone needs more than four visits a year, we’ve built these for as many as six.
10% off your other treatment, whichever one you’re on
Every version of these programs includes 10% off most of your other dental treatment, from a whitening to a crown, with no minimum.
That 10% is the part people tend to overlook. It applies to the work you didn’t plan on, which is usually the work that actually costs something.
What this is, and what it isn’t
None of these are insurance, and we’re not trying to dress them up as insurance. They’re a prepaid arrangement between you and this office. That’s the whole point:
- No annual maximum to run out of in October.
- No waiting periods before you’re allowed to use what you paid for.
- No network, and nobody outside this office deciding what you’re allowed to have.
If you already have dental insurance, you don’t need one of these. Here’s how using your insurance here works, including which plans usually won’t reimburse you.
How to sign up
We sign people up at the office. Ask at your next visit, or call 702-734-0776 and we’ll work out which version fits how often you need to be seen, and what it would come to.
If you’re not a patient here yet, tell us what’s going on and we’ll start with an exam. We’d rather know what your mouth actually needs before putting you on a plan for it.
